Job Description:

A company is looking for an Audit Project Manager I-Commercial Credit to lead audit projects focused on commercial lending activities.



Key Responsibilities

Assigns, supervises, and reviews audit projects while providing feedback and direction to auditors
Develops and executes audit procedures, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies
Evaluates risks within the internal audit control system and creates action plans to address exposures


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in public accounting or bank internal auditing, or a high school diploma with 8 years of experience
Required designation as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Bank Auditor (CBA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Knowledge of internal and external laws, policies, and procedures regulating Internal Audit actions
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SEC Rules, and SOX Act
Preferred audit experience within financial services and knowledge of commercial lending
